Valpirón Premium is a new edition of our barrel-aged wine, now more intense and elegant than ever. We have just launched the 2018 vintage, with a minimum of six months of aging in barrel and twelve months in bottle to round up its taste.
The grapes are selected during the picking process.
Once picked up, grapes are destemmed and transported to vessels where alcoholic fermentation takes place during 10 days at a controlled temperature of 22ºC. Afterwards, the wine is racked to stainless steel tanks where the malolactic fermentation takes place.
Once this process is finished, the wine is aged in american oak barrels for a minimum of 4 months before being filtered and bottled. Then, the wine rests again while bottled for a minimum of 6 months for a perfect rounding up.
Tasting notes: cherry red with violet borders, ripe red fruit, toasted, very balanced, tasty with a perfect fusion of fruits and tannines.
